My neighbor tosses their dog feces into a wooded field behind their home.?

Im wondering if there is something that can be spread over the dog feces to break it down and get rid of the smell now that its summer? My neighbor just noticed the smell last night and I'm hoping she is putting two and two together of what the cause is. I told her it smells like a zoo behind her house when I was walking in the field - Ugh!!!!!
