Pinched sciatic nerve?

My boyfriend thinks he has a pinched nerve in his right leg and/or foot because his right foot has been numb and in alot of pain for a month now and the pain originated in his right leg and now its his whole right and right foot. This all started because he overdosed on meds and ended up becoming unconscious and then in the hospital for a month because while he was unconscious he threw up and aspirated it into his lungs and got bad pneumonia and had to be on a ventilator for 2 weeks out of that month but once he got off of it and woke up more, he started feeling alot of pain in his right leg and theyndid ultrasound on his leg and no bloodclots and since he has gotten out of the hosp. He has seen neurologist, podiatrist and his primary doc and the podiatrist said it was a pinched nerve probably but it wasn't in the foot so he sent him to a neurologist and that doc said to go to physical therapy but his insurance doesn't cover it and he has been doing some therapy here at home that he found online and nothing is helping. He is on painkillers and still suffering. Have any of u had this and what did ur doc do to relieve it. ? Thanks
