I go to college, and there's a group of 5 of us. Pinched sciatic nerve?

My boyfriend thinks he has a pinched nerve in his right leg and/or foot because his right foot has been numb and in alot of pain for a month now and the pain originated in his right leg and now its his whole right and right foot. This all started because he overdosed on meds and ended up becoming unconscious and then in the hospital for a month because while he was unconscious he threw up and aspirated it into his lungs and got bad pneumonia and had to be on a ventilator for 2 weeks out of that month but once he got off of it and woke up more, he started feeling alot of pain in his right leg and theyndid ultrasound on his leg and no bloodclots and since he has gotten out of the hosp. He has seen neurologist, podiatrist and his primary doc and the podiatrist said it was a pinched nerve probably but it wasn't in the foot so he sent him to a neurologist and that doc said to go to physical therapy but his insurance doesn't cover it and he has been doing some therapy here at home that he found online and nothing is helping. He is on painkillers and still suffering. Have any of u had this and what did ur doc do to relieve it. ? Thanks

How to help an alcoholic father?

So my dad is an alcoholic and has been for 10-20 years. We have tried to encourage him to cut down his drinking and quite smoking in the past but it's always been met with hostility. Yesterday I went in my mailbox and a couple of bees flew out. Do me and my horse have a good bond? If not, how can I make it better?

I've been riding my horse, Savvy, for a little over three years, and I want to know if we have a good bond. Once I left her in the coral as I left to get something, and she followed me to the gate and waited for me as I returned. She had her ears forward, and she listens to me pretty well when I ride her. See when she was trained the person who trained her knocked her unconscious by pulling the reins back to hard, and she fell backwards and banged her head on the wall. For the first year I rode her, I was basically retraining her to be not spooky and confident. We have made a lot of progress, she can lead on trails, but she doesn't listen to me too well when we ride alone (although the stable I ride at we have always had many people in one class, so maybe she's just not use to it?) When I ask for her canter, sometimes she puts her ears back and will do a mini-buck or a kick. And sometimes when I ask her to even trot she will put her ears back. It really upsets me that she does this, I want her to enjoy the ride as much as I do. Whenever I walk by her stall she will put her head up and her ears forward, but sometimes I think she is just doing that cause she wonders if I have a treat (after riding I always give her a treat). I have had a hard time getting her canter even, the only time it seems like she will lope for me without a problem is when we play games like Texas Barrels, so I don't know if she wants to lope for fun, or if it's cause I'm asking her to. Please help, I really would appreciate tips and I love her so much, when I buy her I want her to love me with all her heart, like I do to her.

Has anyone re-located to Phoenix from another city? How was/is your experience? I currently live in Chicago (born & raised) and am thinking of relocating. I live in the inner city and am used to lots of noise, plenty people, and a vast of activities and places to see at all times/hours of the day. I know I can't expect Phoenix to be as fast paced as it is here in Chicago and my options of entertainment might be limited but that's fine as I'm looking for something more low-key for my family (I have two young children). How are the people? Are they friendly? We (here) have heard so many stories about Arizona government and officials, I know some must be exaggerations..are people racist toward latinos? Excuse me for being offensive but I don't want my family to be judged upon either (well, beyond the normal amount). How are the jobs? Schools? Restaurants (we are self labeled "foodies")? How is the crime? Please remember that while we live in one of the most notorious neighborhoods in Chicago we still feel safe and take comfort in knowing our community. Any word of advice will be greatly appreciated. (Yes, I know..beware the heat lol! I don't believe these companies take advantage of women because it is their decision to purchase these products. It is their decision to attend these parties and host. I have hosted Silpada parties because I wanted new jewelry. I have had people who are genuinely interested in these products attend a party and purchase items. I can say genuinely because they have also inquired about buying more even after the party/demonstration was done. And those who aren't interested but are curious may attend the demonstration but don't usually buy. And those who aren't interested at all don't attend. The fact remains purchasing is a choice and some people really do enjoy Mary Kay. Some of these companies sell quality products which are pricey depending on the item but are worth it. You will not find a better foundation or facial cleanser than those sold by Mary Kay. I haven't used them in a while but I loved those products when I did use them.

If someone is found wandering (or unconscious) with no id and no memory of who he is, what would happen to him?

I'm guessing he would be picked up by police and placed in a psychiatric facility of some sort. My question is, what would happen if he recovered and became capable of functioning in society and working and all but still had no memory of his identity? Need advice on puppy training....?

I recently got a pit bull puppy who I love and adore, but cannot seem to control. She's about 5 months old and is just a bundle full of energy, which is to be expected. I don't obtain all that energy, so I can only manage a mile long walk, every other day. My main issue with her is her inability to just chillllllllllllllllll. I'd love for her to be able to sit and relax with me. But if I give her freedom, she'll sniff every friggin inch of the floor for scraps or dust balls. If I leash her, she whines and fights me. Not in an aggressive manner, but it's still rather frustrating. Also, I bought her this awesome $20 pillow for her comfort in the crate. I like Nat the best. Nicknames are supposed to be short, quick, and should have a connection to the original name. Nicknames aren't supposed to be a second name. Lia has no connection to her original name, Allie is a completely different name, Nellie sounds too dumb, Tallie sounds weird, Teddy also has no connection but also sounds like a dumb boys name, and Thalia reminds me of that mexican singer.

How do I change the schedule of what days my ads appear on Google adwords?

The instructions on Google's help page are not helpful and are not correct. There is no EDIT button next to ad scheduling. There is only a question mark that tells you about ad scheduling when you click on it and it tells you how to do it but the EDIT option is not there like it says on the help page. Google also says you can call or contact them via email but the email contact is greyed out and unable to be used and the business hours are closed. There is no 24 hour tech support. UGH!

Hey guys, a couple of days ago I fell and banged my head and was left unconscious for about 20 minutes when I woke I felt weird so I went and lay Down. Boyfriend Conflict!!!?

So to make this story short and sweet, I know what my boyfriend's FB password is. And I guess this was wrong on my part, but I logged in and looked around. I came across some messages with a girl that I know from school...and she wanted weed. And when it comes to that, it's just something I hate. That he is involved with that sometimes, but this time to make matters worse he is talking to this girl about giving her weed. Ok so my husband and I are having a BOY! in November. I'm thrilled, but this circumcision argument is making me crazy because I feel like I can't win. My husband is only a quarter Jewish. A quarter!! He isn't even practicing himself. But still his family is insisting we keep with Jewish tradition and circumcise our son. Now I don't want to be racist towards my own family and I don't want them to grudge against me forever, but I do NOT want to circ my baby boy! I want to end the cycle of circumcising from both of our families, starting with our son. Plain and simple I think the procedure is mean, that's my reasoning. I don't know if it's because I'm a woman, I don't know if it's because of the cultural differences, but someone please answer this one for me. My "fiance" has really been pissing me off. For example, he is mexican, i am american. I have a license, him and his buddies and his mother do NOT. So I had a full time job, ok pay, he asks me to leave my job so I can taxi around his family and friends, with this promise that I can make alot of money and help them out at the same time. At first I was very skeptical, but I said okay due to the fact that I could relax and home and cook and clean more and have more free time. Plus that would mean he would be taking care of everything financially. I finally agreed(because at first I told him no, he begged). The reason why he wanted this was because they're passing this stupid immigration law and he's worried for his friends and family, and the agreement was that they'd be paying me. But as you can imagine, things got tight with the money income change. Ok, I was okay with that, you make sacrifices for the ones you love, got it. BUT THEN his freakin mother hasn't even paid "on her own" till this day! I drive a gas gussling car, I'm not even making a profit here. I drive his mother and her two friends to work every day. About ten miles to get there at FREAKIN 7 am in the damn morning and then I pick them up at 4pm in the afternoon. Thats twenty miles. Then on top of that she asked me to take her son to school and then pick him up in the afternoon too, another 5 miles. Then I have to take my fiance to his friends house everyday at 5am as well so that they can drive to work (he works an hour away). The friend lives about 15 miles away. Period Cramp remedies?

Being active before your period helps to prevent some cramping. Exercise and stretch during the cramping even though it hurts if you keep moving the pain will ease. I take advil or ibuprofen usually 600mg but check with your doctor. I've also heard that drinking milk helps before and during. Drink a lot of water and avoid salty foods (I know all you want to eat is salt on you period but they contribute to the cramps) Hot baths help too. Kind of good news as you get older cramps are less painful.

I just realized that I have matches in my checked luggage. Best way to dye highlights?

So I had a question earlier about dying my highlights to my natural hair color so they don't look so bad, but I phrased it wrong. What I meant to ask is, is there a way to dye just the highlights without getting dye in the rest of my hair? And is there a time I'm suppose to wait to dye it again to prevent damage? Also, since I have really thick black/brown-black hair and the highlights I have now are like a coppery reddish color (ugh- it makes my hair look damaged and it was done professionally), would a dark brown dye still look dark brown, or would I have to bleach it first for it to actually show up as dark brown? I am never good enough, no matter how I try. For a long time, I would wake up every morning, disappointed to be alive, to have to face another life as the fat, ugly, terrible person that I am. Death seemed to be the only viable option to end the pain of living. When it came down to it, I was tired, and ready to take a fistful of pills, and go to sleep forever, all I wanted was to feel nothing, to make the pain end. I ended up in a psychiatric hospital for suicidal ideation/attempts, self-mutilation, anxiety, compulsive behaviors and an eating disorder. I didn’t even want to save myself by going to the hospital; I just wanted to make my mother happy. Seeing my mother cry, and worry if this would be the last time she would see her daughter alive was greater punishment that the marks and letters I was carving into my skin with a razor blade. I used the physical pain from the burn of alcohol in open wounds to distract myself from the emotional feelings I was tired of dealing with. Though I never lashed out at others, I was ridiculously angry for the duration of most of the lows that I hit. I was angry at myself, for not being perfect, for worrying my parents, for things that weren’t even my fault. That anger translated into sadness, and cutting, besides shielding me from emotions I no longer wanted to deal with, it gave me yet another to direct my anger and aggression back towards myself. I hated myself for reaching a point where my calm, capable mother, the women who raised two infants with no help admitted that not even could protect me from myself. at a later time, she admitted one of her biggest fears being that should I manage to somehow render myself unconscious, she would be unable to save me, because I am too big for her to move. embarrassed that my obese, 123 pound frame could worry my mother so worried, I immediately downed 4 of the laxatives leftover from my younger sister’s colonoscopy. When I was admitted to the hospital, I had not kept any food down in over a week, another bi-product of the eating disorder I have kept hidden for so long. I never ate unless forced, and even when forced, I stuck a tooth brush down my throat to induce vomiting. Being the paranoid person that I am, I also took way too many laxatives to ensure that nothing even resembling food stayed in my body. It was, and still is a challenge to eat, both physically and mentally. I still am disgusted with myself when I am not hungry, but even more disgusted when I do what I want, because deep down, I know the pain and worry that I am causing the people that care about me. From consuming no food for so long, my body still sometimes panics, and rejects whatever I had attempted to eat if it is too much. Learning to love myself, to take care of myself has been an ongoing challenge, probably one that will still be a part of me years from now. Recognizing myself as a decent human, worthy of respect is going to be my life’s work. I understand that coming out of depression is a long road, and relapse is very possible, but I have learned, and grown as a person. I understand that I will make mistakes, and just because I get a B on a test doesn’t mean that I have wasted my parent’s time by existing just to fail them. There will always be reminders of where I came from, my worn down back molars, scars, and the word ‘failure’ carved into my abdomen. My ribs and hips will still stick out, and my esophagus will always be burnt, my body damaged from the nutrition I refused to consume. I am ashamed to let others see what I have done to myself. recently, I cried when shopping for a swimsuit, I began sobbing upon seeing the damage I had caused to my own body, and from the regret that I still looked fat, even with the sharpness of my exposed bone, unmasked by body fat. Maybe someday, I will be able to attend a family brunch, and not be embarrassed when I can’t eat anything. I will triumph, survive, and maybe someday, have the strength to say I’m pretty, and not be lying through my teeth.
